Apply Kinesiotape

If you sprained your ankle many times in your life, you may have a hypermobile ankle joint. This can cause intermittent ankle pain.  Kinesiotape can help support your ankle and reduce pain.

Apply one end of the kinesio tape at least 4” above the outer side of your ankle while your ankle is everted (turned out), apply the other end over the ankle (split the tape at the ankle several times so you have a fan) and wrap the fanned tape just under your foot, then return your ankle to neutral position.
